Course Description:
The Cimplicity HMI Plant Edition Introduction course is a Level 1 course focusing on the multiple aspects of
project configuration for the Cimplicity HMI Plant Edition product. Valuable hands-on exercises are provided which guide
students
through the building and modification of the HMI application.
Who should attend:
Operators, Application Designers, and System Managers will benefit from this class.
Are there any perequisites?
Participants should have a working knowledge of Win 95 and/or Win NT 4.0.
What tasks will be taught in this class?
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
Create and configure a new Project including the Point Database of the project.
Configure graphics screens.
Configure and utilize Classes and Objects.
Create Database Logging tables.
Create and modify Trend Charts and Alarm Viewers.
Configure events and actions in the Basic Control Engine, including simple scripts using a VB compliant language.
Use System Utilities to troubleshoot project or system process faults.
Understand architecture communication between Cimplicity Servers and Viewers.
