From May 16 to May 20, Gescan joined all Sonepar operating companies and took part in Energy Saving Week (http://www.energysavingweek.ca/). We promoted he benefits tied to energy saving and sustainable activities by hosting multiple events including vendor counter days with Lutron, Philips, Canlyte, Siemens and Acuity Brands, breakfasts, lunches and webinars on the topics of Lighting Control, LED Technology and Solar. Customers were also offered additional information on Windtronics and how to calculate their carbon footprint.
Energy Saving Week was a wonderful step towards increasing awareness of our BlueWay initiative. The events were designed to share information about saving energy, alternative energy applications, eco supplies and we believe this was well accomplished!
Pictured: Keith Moss, President & CEO, Sonepar Canada, made a trip out West to see how things went for Energy Saving Week. He witnessed many great initiatives during his visit, including a visti to the lamp recycling centrs at our Coquitlam branch.
