Gescan Kelowna Branch has an opportunity for an experienced Counter Sales person for an immediate opening.
Solid knowledge of electrical material along with experience in the commercial and residential sector of our business is preferred.
The successful candidate will be working in a busy branch as a team player, with your primary focus being on customer service. You must be capable of making decisions on your own and working independently with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Over the counter sales of simple and slightly complex electrical products and systems
Regular interaction with customers in person and over the phone
Work with a young and energetic team
Understanding of our products and our industry to the extent of being able to guide a customer to the proper product selection for their particular needs. Ability to spot errors and omissions in customer orders, and the ability and the desire to up-sell.
Respectful and passionate ability to do extreme customer service
Requirements:
Natural leadership skills
1 2 years related counter / inside sales responsibilities
MS proficient Excel, Word
SX Enterprise experience
Patience and the ability to understand our corporate direction and investment in youth
This position reports to the Branch Manager
