Description
ACWU is for exposed and concealed wiring in wet or dry locations and where exposed to the weather. It is used in ventilated, non-ventilated and ladder type cable trays. ACWU is suitable for direct earth burial (with protection as required by inspection authority), as well as for service entrance above or below ground. Minimum recommended installation temperature is -25 Deg C. Maximum conductor temperature is 90 Deg C. Compact soft drawn bare 8000 series aluminum, with Class B stranding. Abrasion, heat, moisture and sunlight resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE), 600V Insulation. Interlocked aluminum armor over the cabled conductors. Abrasion, heat, moisture and sunlight resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket, marked with sequential meter markings, -40°C, Black Jacket.
