Fire Rated 4 inch Octagon box. Designed for surface mount ceiling light fixtures 5 inch diameter and up. Mounts on 1/2 to 1 inch thick drywall (pre-adjusted for 5/8 inch). Fits in 2 inch ceiling space ideal for limited plenum areas. Expandable bars fit 16 to 24 inch spaced joists.
