Gescan proudly introduces Troy Bowen as our new ICT Business Unit Manager, bringing over three decades of industry experience in communications and infrastructure design. Troy's journey in the field has seen him wear multiple hats – from being a contractor to working on the client side and spending more than a decade in engineering consulting.
Troy's comprehensive understanding of processes and projects shines through his impressive portfolio. As the lead IT designer for major Calgary projects like the recycling plant, the new international airport terminal, and the cancer centre, Troy has left an incredible mark on the city's landscape.
He has worked on numerous hospital and airport projects, including those in Yellowknife, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, a testament to his vast experience. As our ICT Business Unit Manager, Troy will oversee all things communication, design, and infrastructure, specializing in network cabling, fiber optic backbone infrastructure and physical security.
For Troy, technology is not just a job; it's a passion. His accidental entry into the industry led to a love for the ever-changing landscape of technology. In his leadership role, Troy thrives on sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
