Description

Buck-boost transformers offer an economical solution to the adjustment of line voltages that are slightly above or below normal. When a buck-boost transformer is connected as an autotransformer, only a portion of the load kVA is actually transformed. The majority of the load kVA is passed directly through to the source. For this reason a buck-boost transformer may be used to supply a much larger kVA load than is indicated on the nameplate. Buck-boost transformers can be used to adjust stable voltages only. PRODUCT FEATURES:- 50/60 Hz frequency - Encapsulated core & coils in a combination silica sand and resin compound - Designed with a heavy duty NEMA Type 3R enclosure - Insulation system: 130°C (80°C rise) for 50 to 1000 VA; 180°C (115°C rise) for 1500 to 5000 VA - UL listed - CSA certified

Compact and Cost-Effective - Gives you the exact single-phase voltage adjustment you need at a fraction of the cost and physical size of a standard isolation transformer.

Rugged NEMA 3R Protection- Core and coils are completely encapsulated in sand and resin to seal out moisture and dust, ensuring outdoor reliability backed by a 10-year warranty.

Versatile Voltage Correction - Easily bridges common voltage gaps on single-phase lines to fix line drops and protect expensive equipment from failing.
