19-in. Rack Angles can easily be mounted in a modular enclosure. Furnished in pairs, rack angles have two mounting surfaces (left and right) that serve as mounts for both rack equipment and rack accessories. Rack angles can be attached to the frame in the front and/or the back. Adjustable rack-mounting rails can be used to position rack angles anywhere within the modular enclosure frame. Comply with ANSI/EI A RS-310-D rack mounting standards. Can be mounted directly to the enclosure frame or in almost any location using adjustable rack-mounting Rails or Grid Straps. Furnished in pairs and are available with tapped holes that directly accommodate 10-32 screws or square holes for use with cage nuts and M5, M6 or 10-32 screws. Tapped Rack Angles are 12 gauge (2.5mm) steel with 10-32 tapped holes. Square-hole rack angles are 14 gauge (1.75 mm) steel designed to accept metric or english cage nuts. Attach directly into a 600-mm wide enclosure frame. To mount in 800-mm wide frames, use frame reducing brackets (not included) or adjustable rack-mounting rails. 1200-mm frames require center uprights (not included) to mount in right or left section; 1600-mm frames require both center uprights and two sets of frame reducing brackets or adjustable rack-mounting rails. Optional rack mounted shelves, drawers, guides and pull-out shelves require two sets of rack angles or frame accessory brackets installed in the frame. All mounting hardware to install Rack Angles to the frame is included (Hardware to attach items to the rack angles are either included with the item or purchased separately if necessary). 20 lbs. (9.1 kg) per rack unit for equipment under 20 in. (508 mm) deep. Equipment over 20 in. (508 mm) deep or over 20 lb. (9.1 kg) per rack unit requires rear support.
Can be mounted directly to the frame, or at variable depths using Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Grid Straps; when mounted to the frame there is 44mm between the door opening and the Rack Angle mounting surface
Single-bay Frames: in a 600-mm wide frame, Rack Angles can be mounted in-line with the frame; in an 800-mm wide frame, Adjustable Rack-Mounting Rails or Frame Reducing Brackets are required (sold separately) to achieve the 19-inch rack spacing
Double-Bay Frames: in a 1200-mm wide frame, Center Uprights must be used to create a mounting surface in the center of the enclosure for either bay; in a 1600-mm frame, Center Uprights are again required in addition to Frame Reducing Brackets or Adjustabl
Tapped-Hole Rack Angles accommodate 10-32 screws for equipment mounting
Square-Hole Rack Angles accept both metric and English cage nuts and screws: most commonly M5, M6, and 10-32 screws
Optional Shelves, Drawers, and Guides require two sets of Rack Angles to secure within the frame
All mounting hardware for Rack Angle installation into the frame is included; mounting hardware for securing rack-mount equipment/accessories to the Rack Angles is either supplied with the item or purchased separately
Tapped Rack Angles are constructed from 12 gauge (2.5 mm) conductive steel, while Square-Hole Rack Angles are from 14 gauge (1.75 mm) conductive steel
Load rating of 20 lbs (9.1 kg) per rack unit for equipment under 20-inches (508 mm) in depth; All equipment over 20-inches in depth requires rear rack angles for support
