Shipping and delivery dates given are estimates only and are not guaranteed, although every effort will be made to deliver on time. In any event, Gescan assumes no liability whatsoever for any damages for loss of use or other consequential or special damages which may result from any delay in delivery or shipment by Gescan, whether the delay is caused by reasons beyond its control, such as strikes, slowdowns, failures or delays of its sources of supply in meeting their delivery promises to Gescan, or for any other reason. If shipment or delivery is delayed for any reason by the customer, payment shall nevertheless be due at the time or times which would have applied if the shipment or delivery had been made on the dates originally specified, and in addition, the customer agrees to reimburse Gescan for all direct and indirect expenses which Gescan may have incurred because of the customer's delay.
Shipments require a signature. If unavailable a shipping notification card with further details will be issued.
Multiple items may be shipped separately due to size or availability and may arrive at different times. Orders that arrive in multiple packages will not affect Shipping Charges paid at time of purchase.
We cannot ship to PO boxes at this time.
Orders usually ship within 24 - 72 hours if all items in the order are available. If items are backordered, a follow-up email will be sent to you with an estimated time of delivery.
Wire orders may be subject to additional fees or be unable to ship to certain areas.
To return your product, you first must receive an RMA# for your goods before returning. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
All freight terms are "F.O.B. Shipping Point". All transportation charges and related expenses shall be for the customer's account and the customer shall not be entitled to any allowance in lieu of transportation. Gescan shall have the right to specify the carrier, point of shipment and routing thereof. Gescan shall not be responsible for any Products damaged or lost in transit. The customer shall give Gescan and the delivering carrier written notice within ten (10) days from the date of customer's receipt of the products and goods, of any evidence of damage to and/or shortage of containers or contents; furthermore, the customer shall request an inspection of the damage and/or shortage by a representative of the delivering carrier and that a copy of the carrier’s Inspection Report be sent to Gescan. If such notice to Gescan and delivering carrier is not given, the products shall be deemed to have been delivered complete and in satisfactory condition.
Export orders placed for shipment outside of Canada will be shipped in accordance to Export Service Canada (EDC) requirements. The customer is responsible for obtaining, at its own cost, such import and export licences and other consents in relation to the goods as are required from time to time and, if required by EDC, the customer shall make those licences and consents available to EDC prior to shipment. The purchase price of the products shall be exclusive of any transportation or freight costs, insurance costs. Gescan may insure to full value of products shipped at customer's expense or declare full value to the transportation company at time of shipment.
Damaged products must be reported within 72 hours of confirmation of delivery. Exchange/return requests for damaged product outside of this period will be reviewed on a case by case basis and may not be approved.
Returns for any products purchased on Gescan.com must be completed within 30 days of receipt of goods. Any return requests outside of this time frame will be reviewed on a case by case basis and may not be approved.
If the incorrect product has been ordered, return shipping will be at the cost of the purchaser.
If you are shipping the product, carefully package the item(s) and include the packing slip. Ship the package to the nearest Gescan branch location. Please prepay shipping – Gescan does not accept C.O.D.s. You may also drop off the product to any of our local Gescan branch locations. Custom or Special orders are sold on a “Final Sale” basis only. No cancellations, returns, refunds or credits are allowed on these orders.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Your RMA # must be in the return address and must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box or your refund could be significantly delayed or refused. All refunds will be credited to the payment method used in the original purchase. We will make every effort to process your refund quickly and you will be notified of your refund by e-mail. Gescan will not refund any shipping charges unless we made an error in order processing or we have determined that a product is defective. Gescan is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the item(s) you are returning. For your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post, courier or LTL.
Gescan does not accept returns on cut wire.
Title and risk of any loss on the goods passes directly to the customer at time of shipment. Undelivered products will remain the property of the customer and will be returned to Gescan or its supplier. Additional charges may apply.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@Gescan.com.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless approved by Gescan.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged not due to shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@Gescan.com. Defective item(s) is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and will be repaired or replaced as per the manufactures approved policy.
