3M™ cold shrink QT-III silicone rubber termination kit 7620-T-95, tape, wire and unishield, 5-8.7 kV, 0.32-0.59 in (8.1 to 15 mm) cable insulated O.D. 3 termination/kit. It is designed for terminating (Solid) dielectric power cable rated 5-8 kV in small spaces. Helps meet NEC 2005 Code for shielded cables of 2400+ volts. Meets IEEE standard 48-1996. For primary insulation O.D. of 0.32 to 0.59 inch and 8 to 4 conductor range for 5 kV and 8 to 6 range for 8.7 kV. This one-piece, non-skirted silicone rubber termination comes with factory-applied, pre-positioned Hi-K stress control layers underneath the insulator. Its short installed length is excellent for installations in limited spaces, such as those with motors, starters, switchgear, variable speed drives, transformers and similar connections, often reducing the need to add auxilitary boxes when enclosure space is limited. Its based on cold shrink technology, field proven over 40 years since 3M invented it. Designed for a range of cable types including tape shield, wire shield and UniShield® constructions.
