At this point, you, like me, have surely been inundated with communication about the COVID-19 pandemic. With the situation evolving on a daily, if not hourly, basis, these are truly unchartered waters for us all. In this time of uncertainty, I want to assure you that Gescan is playing its part. At Gescan, like all others, we care deeply about your well being and that of our associates, suppliers and their families. I want to assure you that we have a rigorous COVID-19 crisis management plan and a day-to-day abatement plan to protect you and all others while fulfilling the level of service that you expect and deserve from us.

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep our facilities safe for everyone. We've implemented several measures to achieve these goals, in line with the recommendations issued by the various levels of government.

Some of these measures include:

  • Increased hygiene protocols and measures at our offices and branches
  • The cancellation of external business functions and meetings that are non-essential to maintaining our operations
  • We are all practicing social distancing
  • Our meetings are conducted virtually to limit exposure risks

 

Our branches are open, but in order to avoid physical contact, we are encouraging our customers to shop online at www.gescan.com, our Mobile App (download on the App Store or Google Play) or the telephone. If you would like to come into our branches, at this time, we are happy and able to serve you. We ask that you please respect the measures that we put in place to keep everyone safe in these trying times. Some of the amenities that we provide you with daily may not be available during your visit.

Like I said, this is a highly fluid situation, and our service levels may be impacted in the future. Despite the many challenges before us, we are working to maintain our operations and deliver on our customer promise. We will monitor the situation closely and if something changes, we will advise you promptly. Until then, take great care, act accordingly and responsibly to protect yourself, and all others.
